SCHOOL CONCERTS This is an invitation for all Twin Cities Minneapolis Metropolitan area public, private and alternative schools. If you have a school class (or several classes) that you would like to have attend one of these FREE concerts, there are only TWO (2) requirements:
ATTENTION TEACHERS & INSTRUCTORS The Black Storytellers Alliance (BSA) will sponsor again FREE storytelling Concerts for the metropolitan public, parochial and private schools on Friday, September 27, 2008. The schedule of the free storytelling concerts of National Black Master Storytellers is included in this letter. These storytellers are presented by the Black Storytellers Alliance for our 16th Annual Black Storytelling Festival – “Signifyin’ & Testifyin’”. The schedule is as follows:
As has been the case in the previous years, school personnel who will provide appropriate supervision must accompany all students from their schools and provide transportation to and from their selected site. These concerts will be held in the locations specified above.
All
reservations will be granted on a strict first come, first served basis.
Therefore, all interested instructors must call Ms. Nothando Zulu at 529-5864 for reservations no later than Friday, September 21, 2007. For your added convenience, you may do any ONE of the following:
A) fax your reservation requests to (612) 529-5951
B) Fill out the form below and click on the Submit button C) Call and leave your request at (612) 529-5864 (we must confirm it by phone.)
Please include a count for the students and a count for the staff accompanying them as well as a means of contacting you for confirmation (we prefer your email information). Please select the specific time slot as appropriate. We will send confirmations as soon as possible. Do not miss this fantastic group of Master Storytellers and Artists of National stature.
